Our Story

Promoting Environmental Awareness
Green Goals: Take Your Shot! empowers young people across Orange County to become environmental storytellers and changemakers through the lens of photography. By combining creative expression, hands-on investigation, and student-led action, the program inspires youth to observe their surroundings, document local environmental challenges and successes, and design real-world solutions to improve their communities. Through workshops, workbooks, and public exhibitions, Green Goals connects students to nature—from their schoolyard to state parks—and cultivates the next generation of environmental stewards.
About
My name is Audrey Abrahams
I am a high school student from Orange County, California who turned a setback into a mission. After an injury paused my soccer career, I began to see the waste and litter left behind on the sidelines and felt called to act. With a strong passion for environmental science, I created Green Goals: Take Your Shot to combine awareness and action—using photography to reveal hidden issues, promote sustainability, and inspire students to protect the planet. My goal is to empower young people to take responsibility for a cleaner, healthier, and more environmentally conscious future.
